How do I 'import' all my email contacts?...

I have just configured my email so that I access it from MS-Outlook, as opposed to the webmail version of TalkTalk. However, in MS-Outlook my list of contacts is empty.

Does anyone know a quick way to populate the contacts list in Outlook with the same list that I have on the webmail contacts list?

Not really what you asked but I downloaded Microsoft Essentials and its Windows Live Mail is very like Outlook and it automatically synced my emails and contacts.

I know nothing of Talk Talk web mail but presume it must have a Contacts folder or phone book of some sort? You may be able to sync this with Outlook

If not I expect the folder could be downloaded into Excel which is then easy to import into Outlook via either a .xlsx or .csv file. From memory I think Outlook prefers .csv.

However do be aware that some WebMail applications do not recognise Outlook as using the account. You may have to log in and physically send an email from the WebMail site every 90 days or so (see small print) or the account may be suspended and eventually deleted

Export the contacts from your TalkTalk Webmail account as a CSV file then go into outlook and import the CSV file into contacts.
