How do I multi-quote?

Just needed to quote 2 messages in the same thread. I did it by just copying and pasting one at a time but is there an easier way?
I've seen people quoting from different threads too, do you do it by hitting reply in the donor thread and then copying the quote from your reply column? then repeat the process from any other thread you need?
Like I said, I can do it but wondered if there was a quicker way???

That's fine if the messages you want to quote are on the same page but if I hit reply on a message on page 1 and then go to page 4 my reply box is empty when the new page opens. Obviously going from thread to thread is the same.

OK thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing it the hard way.

It used to be possible with the old forum software, but with the current software it is a copy and paste job with multiple replies.
