How do I reattach overshoe seam tape

Hi all,

I have a pair of YELLOW BBB overshoes which have a tape over the seam down the front.
The trouble is the tape keeps lifting, which I have tried to reattach with fabric glue but that doesn't seem up to the job.
What is the usual method for reattaching this tape?

Buy new tape and start again. Old tape can't be re-attached. It is available online or from outdoor places.

It is ironed on.
