How do I track 'Le Tour'

I've just heard on the TV (ITV4) mention of the ability of tracking the riders, I assume on a map

The commentator was mentioning the fact that folk could track the cyclists, then just pop out of their houses a couple of minutes before they arrive.

How is this possible please ?

is it on the computer, or via an App.

The commentator was mentioning the fact that folk could track the cyclists, then just pop out of their houses a couple of minutes before they arrive.

It was actually the guest, Mick Bennett, saying that about the Tour of Britain, which he directs - but it can be done on the websites of lots of races, or there are apps, or there's http://live.cyclingnews.com/ for races it covers, or www.thesocialpeloton.com for a curated twitter feed.

Maybe they can track it on the telly box and then a few minutes before it arrives at your location you can go outside?
