Hello all,
A number of people have sent me pictures sent via iphones ( wedding photos) but I can never view or download them ! I'm guessing this is some sort of locked Iphone format which my PC will not display. I use linux and have tried on various versions of linux with no joy. When I view the email in my Yahoo mail it will not display them or allow me to download them

Any ideas

When you say 'sent you', do you mean they have attached them as images or are they a link to a site that stores them? If they are attached images, you should be able to see them, what format are they in (JPEG, TIFF etc)?

My nephew sends me picture from his iphone - in hotmail they appear with no attachment symbol as they are 'in' the email. But once I open the email, I can see / download the picture.

On my tablet I can't see them at all - the application doesn't want to know.

What mail program are you using on Linux?

I have now worked out that this is a Yahoo thing , I got one of the people to send the images again to both my yahoo and AOL addresses I had the same problem again with yahoo but they were displayed on AOL ,unfortunately they are bad quality so really are of no use but at least I will know in the future.

Cheers Brad
