Cotton cap...you can pick them up for a few of quid and sit nicely under a helmet e.g.

I tilt my head down a bit and just let it drip off my nose and chin. The best bit is if you squeeze your helmet by mistake and it all runs out of the pads down your face , minging!

Thanks for the replies. Being a baldy (and amazed how sunburnt my head got under a helmet yesterday) I've ordered up a couple of bandanas.

Though that Castelli thing looks good too ....

I like the ide of that castelli, more to prevent helmet suntan lines than sweat.

I find that I get used to it. The first few sweats of the year sting, but the more I do the less it seems to effect me.

Best way is the old way - football trick - use some vaseline on the eyebrows and you will see the sweat divert away from your eyes and run down your cheek

Labouring up some hills today I had sweat pouring down my face and into my eyes, stinging and blinding. Trying to wipe off with mitts was pretty ineffectual so I'd just like to ask how others cope - bandana, sweatband, cloth in back pocket?
Options; 1) Slow down. 2) Wear less. 4) Ride in the UK.............uh, sorry you already tried that. 3) Wait for evaporation.

Actually, I shouldn't joke about such matters; last week I celebrated my birthday ascending Mont Ventoux for the 15th time. Despite cool tempertatures and strong winds my face and head felt too hot, and I removed my eyewear to get more air to my face. Nearly removed the helmet also, but glad I didn't as I could no longer see exactly where I was going. (Prescription lenses.)
Apparently I did I an amazing descent, which I only got to see in any detail when I reviewed the bikecam footage. :hyper:

Another nasty I find is when you have been riding in dry weather for weeks, and then you get caught in the rain, washing a load of dry sweat/salt right into your eyes, stings like hell and bloody minging, I`m sure I`m not the only one......
