How do you cope with sweat?

that is realy strange, I am pretty sure I sweat more than average but cannot recall it ever causing me any problems like described; the worst is in cold weather when my jersey gets damp and then thewinde gets to it; or beltingalong th hvingt stop at traffic light, th th sweat pours like someone turned a tap.

generally baldy people tend to get probles due to nothavig hir to absorb it so bandannas are thr way to go,

Rule 5. Mtfu + rag helmet up and wick with mitts before its running down. Or shake head furiously does it if I am hauling ass. Or remove helmet quickly and wipe properly if you wish. Easier with headphones/sunnies Under helmet straps

Me too, I do find that a Buff wicks the glow away quite quickly though.

Buff all year round for me; it's cool and absorbs sweat in summer and it's warm in winter. As a mountain biker I used to sweat buckets and my helmet would get horribly whiffy and the straps salty. As a roadie wearing a buff my helmet stays clean and doesn't need washing out, possibly the extra speed helps too.

Another nasty I find is when you have been riding in dry weather for weeks, and then you get caught in the rain, washing a load of dry sweat/salt right into your eyes, stings like hell and bloody minging, I`m sure I`m not the only one......

I work on washing slightly more often, I find it helps to reduce the salt build up!

I wear a "Buff" under my helmet. Works really well in absorbing the sweat and also in the winter it helps in keeping the head warm

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. Out today in silly heat and the bandana soaked up every drop. Most effective bit of cycling clobber I've ever purchased (and at under £3, certainly the cheapest).
