How do you dispose of a plastic recycling box?

I 'recycled' mine!

We had a local recycling service which lost the contract a couple of months back. The new company delivered new recycling boxes to every household in the town but either they missed me out or somebody nicked my new box. I've been using my old recycling box instead and so far they have been emptying it.

I'm off down to the bin in a minute to see if the bin men have taken any notice of a card I left telling them that the 25 empty bin bags draped over my dustbin are a strong hint that I don't actually need 5 bags leaving every 2 weeks! Since the new recycling scheme started, I've only been filling one third of a single bin bag per fortnightly collection but they keep leaving me 5 bags...

I don't think this is an entirely serious question, but I ring up the recycling dept and they take away all the boxes and bins I don't need.

You need to mark it, then when it gets stolen again go looking for it and steal it back!!!
