Had the bolt holding the idler pulley snap today..
Cable tied it all to the frame and got the trike home kinda slowly.
Was expecting to just put a replacement bolt tthru the frame and be on my way
Is a bit complex the holes each side of the frame are different diameters !!
Here's a pic of the broken bolt (thing) I'm told all the moving parts are from ice

Between The fat bit and the skinny bit is where the break is

The pulley certainly looks like one of theirs .. Is the bolt / axle thing an ice fitting ?
They arn't there till monday to talk to and I don't want to drill through and put a nut and bolt in
if I can get a replacement part..

Any thoughts ?

Terratrike do a band on one which would work and they claim to be brilliant so that's another option.

That's a little unlucky but you got home. The idler on my KMX is a bolt through the frame nice and simple.
sorry can't help any more

All back together and running again.. The guy who built it made me another bolt thing. Incredibly kind of him

Have ordered a terra cycle kit tho with a band on bracket, over and under pulleys and double chain keeper
Kinda pricey but looks good. Once that arrives will have a spare set up

Just back from Wales today and friday would have been the perfect day to take the trike up Llanllwni mountain
next time perhaps
