How far do you commute?

I have got a new full-time job which is 7.5 miles away. I am seriously considering doing it on two wheels.

So how far do you commute?

Mine is a 34 mile round trip 5 days a week.

24 miles a day (12 one way) 5 days a week.

Many others on here do a lot more, so your 7.5 is definitely doable

I'd recommend building up to it slowly - once a week, then two, three & so on. Before you know it you'll be doing all five and wishing your commute was longer.

Now's a good time to start with improving weather and spring round the corner.

How far? All the way there and back.
Depends where I am, recently I've been doing a 50 mile round trip which came as a shock to the system at first but I adapted. But for the foreseeable future I've got a rather uninspiring 4 mile urban journey morning and afternoon.

It's averaging out to be around 16 miles each way at a rather fast pace. As said, work your way into your commute rather than jump in at the deep-end & end up discouraged.

Mine can be up to 8 miles away, it is doable, I would recommend it.

30 miles a day, 5 days a week. Go for it, it's easier than it sounds. I'm a 43 year old ex 20 a day for 25 years smoker, if i can do it anybody can.

I only do three a week tho'

I could do it every day but 3 per week suits me better.

Depends where I am. It's either 7 miles each way or 3 miles each way.

13.5 each way, 3 times/week. Try it at the weekend so it doesn't matter how long it takes.
