no, i'm impatient and couldn't get hold of any there and then. so i went for the ergo tec2 grips which do everything i wanted and are comfy. so it worked out better in the end. bloody expensive tho and cutting them down was a bit nerve wrecking, just in case of a cock up. i got the reduced gearing as well, oh oh the easy wheels as well. big spend on a new bike, but now it's pretty much perfect. tho i suspect i will end up getting the rear rack for stability reasons.

Good stuff. Was going to offer you a test ride of Mr Houtkop's B with Ergon grips (but no bar ends) possibly at the Critical Mass - but we might have to go out with some friends instead.

No doubt will see you at one soon if not this week, his is red and mine black...

er... while wheeling about folded on the rear rack you mean? We never fitted the easy wheels to the bike before getting the rear rack, so can't directly compare. It's still not perfect with the rack + easy wheel combo, Mr Houtkop's fell over on the train on the weekend for example, but it is generally OK. Having the different grips on will also affect the balance of the bike (probably for the worse!).

sorry no, i meant in the park position. i think easy wheels have have made mine less stable in the parked position, but bonus is i don't have the wheel heel clash thing anymore.

nope not the bikes fault. either mine or rough roads round here or both. the easy wheels on my rackless wonder are narrower than original wheels. considering getting the rack kit.
