I don’t know about myself but my brother, nine years younger than I, has been put into a Dementia unit in Auckland NZ. It started nine years ago with a brain bleed. Then over the years more and more bleeds. He has lived at home with his wife but in the last few months has become aggressive and angry at the simplest things. Now, New Zealand too far away for us and as he left in 1997 I wouldant know him or his wife anymore. His wife told me this morning that if he passed away it would be the kindest thing.
It’s only a matter of time now but I wonder if they hadn’t emigrated things would have been different her in UK?

Crikey, I'm 66 and it says I'll get to 96 years 4 months and 25 days - It says I'll die of lower respiratory Infection . I'd suggest most likely poverty and malnutrition because my pension will buy next - to -nothing in 30 years from now.
