It's worth noting (to get a balanced result from your poll @Crackle) that here in Scotland we do not have water meters, the water bill is a flat yearly amount included in your council tax.

You do have a lot more water in Scootland though

We have a water meter..so showers are king..
that said my shower is a relatively quick affair, wife takes 15 mins ish.
i would like to point out that i dont have a lot of hair and i pay the bloody water rates...

i take 3-5 mins.. i do like a hot bath after a very cold day mind but i have the " save water mind set now" so even that is a shallow bath..

When it comes to showers, I think height is a more important issue than length.

About 3.5 minutes, equivalent to 1 song. I see it as a function rather than an event and take a weekly shower, whether I need one or not.

We are on a septic tank with a very inefficient soakaway. Baths are out of the question, if anyone takes more than 5 minutes in the shower then i'm under the kitchen cupboard, turning the stopcock off.
