just worked out that i have owned 30 cars since i passed my test 34 yrs and this does not include 9 years of driving company cars ............

all types from old minis,fiesta's,saab escorts and even Tvrs !

1 car. For about 3 years, before it was too badly rotted to carry on.

Probably about 20 cars, 1 truck, 1 motorbike, 1 electric tractor since 1985.
The current car has been with me for 11 years though.

I have had only 14 bikes in that time including a toddler trike and the Ratrike and 7 long forked chopper bikes I built when I was a kid.

In 32 years, we've had 7 cars - 3 Volkswagens and 4 Fords. Plus at Uni I had (briefly) a moped which was on its last legs. The longest we kept a car was 9 years - the shortest (our first car, a battered old VW Beetle that I loved to bits) we had for 6 months and I sold it for more than I paid for it!

A proton, xantia, 2 minis, a golf, leon, yaris, mercedes, saab & a focus so thats 10 in 11 years! Wow, never realised that till now!

In 30 years, 12 cars starting with a mkII Capri 1.6 in Canary Yellow to my current Citroen C4 Picasso.
Bikes, first my 1976 Raleigh Chopper in Purple then a further 15 I think over the years, more when early to late and now 3 - see my sig

37 years driving...
Mini, Cortina, Mini, Mini, Austin 1100, Marina, Ascona, Lancia Beta, Maestro, Cavalier, Vectra, Vectra and now a Focus.
14 unless ive forgotten anything, thats roughly a car every 2.5 years

I did go without a bike for several of those early years. Early on i had an ancient 3 speed town bike, something else i cant remember, a Carlton Continental, Raleigh Chimera, Trek 7.1FX, Bianchi Via Nirone, then ditto 10 speed, Raleigh Clubman and now a Ribble sportive.
9 bikes then...and 4 of them i still have.
