We've probably met somewhere before as until last year I lived in Tonbridge and often visited Sevenoaks. Didn't cycle though.

I've not met ayone ad I kind of like it that way. I worry that I'll have a moan about everyday life here and someone I know will recognise me so would rather keep it quiet. + I think that some of you guys are awesome and fear being dissapointed by the flesh. Furtive bottom glances are allowed I think, even for newbies like us sometimes they are unavoidable, honest, and the odd stare can make the pain go away I'm told. I study the calves and the finely turned ankles of my companions myself. It staves off the grumps.

I'm sure you're all lovely people but I haven't met anyone on here I don't know already because I'm an antisocial old sod.

Patrick Pending and I commute the same way but despite lots of potential sightings we've never actually bumped into each other. Every week, another message from Patrick: 'was that you?' Me: 'No, sorry'. or Me: 'I think I saw you!' Patrick: 'naaah...' etc etc ad inifinitum...

I don't think there's that many CC'ers in the East Midlands, Kirstie. I've never met one yet while commuting or casual cycling (not counting the recent CC get-together in Derby - delighted to meet Hilldodger, Will1985, Sk4rkeyBloke and Admin). Statistically, over the years and countless thousands of miles, I must have sighted one or two forummers while commuting, I suppose - but if so, they look surprisingly like every other cyclist!
