How many of you planning to ride Christmas Day?

I know it is usually crazy busy especially if you've got kids, but how many of you are going to head out? Or Boxing Day perhaps?

Usually get out, got to clear some calories for the gluttony to come!

Depending on the weather I usually get out for a short ride, some years its just too icy however.

I'm doing the Southwark Cyclist's Christmas Day ride this year and really looking forward to it. Missed it last year due to being stuck at the in-laws down in Rye with literally no escape until the 27th as there was no public transport and we left the bikes at home.

We're going to the mother-in-law's in Christmas day. It's a very nice 30 miler, so I might cycle it whilst the wife & kids take the car. And of course, I'll make the return journey on boxing day!

No cos i'm having a party well Christmas dinner for a tradition. And well would be toooo tired. Boxing day double pay so yes rightie so ill be working and cycling that DAY!

Well if the wife invites her brother round for Christmas lunch, I will be going to work! So it will be a commute for me.

Not sure wether to do flat or hilly, can't decide.
Not sure wether to ride before or after my swim.
Not sure wether I'll swim in the pool or the sea.....

We have the grandparents coming around for lunch. Mornings are also normally hectic.

However, I have asked for a Garmin so if I get it, I might have an excuse to go out in the afternoon.

Well we're due to be round the in-laws so I can see the benefit. Plus it would be nice to cycle in central London whilst it's really quiet. Having said that, it will be one more thing to fit in the car and worry about getting in/out the flat....
