1 pair.

Shimano R099's.

Wanted black 'un's when I got them ( chucked in at a huge discount from the place I bought my bike from ) but they were out of stock so I ended up with the white ones.

I use a pair of Pro Tarmac H2o overshoes on them to keep the worst of the muck off.

Now, if we were talking motorbike boots that's a different matter - Got about 6 pairs, Alpinestars GP Techs, Sidi Vertebraes, Gaerne and Pumas.

Two... some shimano ones I got 4 yrs ago, and use on my roadie; another (excellent) pair I got from Lidl about 3 yr ago, and use when commuting (and then wear at work) and otherwise on my MTB (after which they need a bit of a clean before I can wear 'em to work again  )
