Well, I know what will happen when I go out on the bike tomorrow after saying this ....but I have done about 5000 miles on my bike now without a puncture. I have Marathon Plus tyres...so it seems as if they work! It's only a hybrid bike and I am not overly worried about the weight of the tyres...but this seems like a lot of good luck so far!!

What is the longest you have ever been without a puncture?

Had my first puncture in around 7000 miles this week with my Durano Plus. Risked going along a road where they were hedge cutting and picked up a huge thorn so my own fault. I don't think many tyres would have survived.

I have Durano's on my newer road bike that I only use in the summer/dry weather. Glad to hear they are similarly good!

You don't get punctures, because you call them PUNCTURES, and not p***tures, or visits from some kind of fairy.

I went almost 6 months this year without one, but in total I've had 6 in 8500 miles (nearly all miles on the road bike) over the year.

Last year I was mainly on the MTB and seem to remember having around 15

I don't usually keep a bike long enough to get a visit

That said I have had 2 on the whyte, now wearing marathon +

Four on the giant - two at the same time after riding over a boulder  the bike is being sold in January, sign I've had it too long (18 months)

Pretty good average. What tyres do you use?

Stock 23 mm Rubino on Boardman was 1st puncture.
23mm Rubino Pros 2nd puncture on Allez; Wore out another pair of 25mm Rubino Pros without a puncture then replaced them with spare stock 23 mm Spesh All Condition which held out for only 500 miles ffs.
I've still got them on while i await delivery of Pro 4 Endurance tyres as per recommendation on this forum.

However, I keep them inflated to 110-120 psi. I also get all the crap and debris off the tyres after every ride, and I feel sure this contributes to lack of punctures.

So far, on my "new" touring bike. Used but new to me. Going on three months without a puncture on Schwalbe Marathon Pluses, these have travelled across the country before I got the bike. So, I'll see what happens this summer - I was hoping to get some new ones to go on the tourer before I head out this summer on my small tours.
