I wear multiple layers to feel comfortable at 17/18 C. At 25 C, I would have to be stripped down to near naked!
used to be set at 20.5 , now at 19.5 which only really comes on when its proper cold out as the thermostat is in a south facing room in direct sunlight .
Tried to drop it a bit more but the rest of the house feels chilly if i do , i have just bought some tape that you put around the window to stop draughts which helps a lot ( linky below ) and next job when my backs better is to put up wood above the windows and install curtains as we only have blinds atm but as the windows have concrete lintels you can drill deep enough easily to install the brackets without the 1st layer of plaster turning into a massive hole .
