About 3000 miles per year. One mile each way (!!) commute to work, 4 days out of 6. Maybe the odd leisure ride of between 20 and 50 miles once or twice per week, perhaps a longer ride every month in the summer. Winter time, very few miles as I don't do cold/wet/windy. Summer holidays - maybe a tour in France doing 70 miles per day for 10 days... So as you see, it all depends on whatever; there are no roolz .

Now that we have more daylight and warmer weather I go out twice a week: 1 time during the week, after work, for 20-25km; at the weekend I go out for 1 longer ride, usually in the 50-80km range

In the winter months I only do the weekend ride, same stuff...50-80km

I’m currently doing around 100-120 miles a week, across 5-7 rides of 15-25 miles. Dodgy joints don’t really permit more in a single ride at the mo, although I’m going to try for 30-35 one day this weekend.
This should get me to 1500 for the year by end of weekend

I cycle most days, but only about 5-10 miles for pleasure or to run errands, and then most weekends I do a longer 20-30 mile ride with my son.

4-5 days a week at present - all off road, and usually an hour to 2 hours at a time. That's a bit more than normal as I no longer commute to work on the bike (long story), but with lockdown, I can get out most days as no commute to work - working from home.

A lot of commuters will tell you, it's the frequency of rides that build fitness. Mine's come back fast with 4-5 days riding a week, with say an hour a time.

Almost every day, to local shops and just general leisure rides. Before this lockdown i also did most of my supermarket and in town shopping on the bike. I dont ride in crap weather though, like wind & rain.
No idea what miles i do, i dont keep track of it, but it definitely isn't high mileage.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
In normal times I did just two long rides a month - a 100 miler (or maybe a 200k audax in the summer) plus one other shorter hillier one. And on top of that I fitted in a few other rides - all varying depending on competing demands on my time. Because of where I live I rarely ride anything shorter than 30 or 40 miles because to get to anywhere nice to ride I have to slog through several miles of suburbs out and back.

Over the past couple of months I've been 100% indoor/turbo based, and doing a lot more harder shorter sessions plus once a week a bigger one lasting a few hours (maybe a simulated ride up one of the iconic road racing climbs or something like that).

Is there a weekly mileage we should be adhering to ? or is it just plain and simple.....whenever we can sneak it in !
If you want to set yourself a personal challenge, and if you enjoy doing things like that, then you can set yourself a target to adhere to. Plenty of people do that kind of thing. If you're a more laid back type, or very busy then whatever you can sneak in is fine.

Just do what suits you and what you enjoy.

An interesting one for me as a newbie, done a couple of 20+ rides and a 32 miler last week. I wondered if people go out every day or every other day ? or 3 times per week perhaps ? Is there a weekly mileage we should be adhering to ? or is it just plain and simple.....whenever we can sneak it in !
Also, if you do a 30+ ride, do you go out the next day to do similar mileage ?
I would commute most days, perhaps 5 to 10 miles most workdays then do 2 or 3 longer rides a week, perhaps a couple 25/30 mile evening rides then a 50 miler sometime during the weekend. I'd probably do 100 to 120 miles a week no problem.
30 miles ride then ride the next day, no problem but I was fit then, it really depends on the individuals fitness.

I'd go out a lot more but life gets in the way. Rides are usually around 2 hours, 3 or 4 days a week.

Sometimes it's more smiles than miles out on the trails.

Currently, about 20 miles a day for the three days a week I'm not working, plus less miles in the evenings of the working days, depending on how enthusiastic I still feel after I've been on my feet all day. Probably about 80 miles a week on average, but I'm not going to ride if it chucks it down or is excessively windy.
I get plenty of exercise just going about my daily routine without needing to obsess about achieving x amount of miles or ride hours a week. If I'm in the mood I might hit a hundred miles over a week, if I'm not in the mood it might only be half that.

My riding frequency is currently driven by my availability based on my working schedule. Typically I don't ride on consecutive days but sometimes I have to as these are the only slots available to me. Most of my riding is off-road and I try to include some good climbs, but I rarely do more than 25 miles in one ride (again, time-constrained) and typically I only have 60-90 minutes free so it'll be 10-15 miles - if so I try and push harder (blowing my own trumpet - yesterday I took 30 seconds off of a 3 minute climb segment PR!). I usually take a call on how I feel as to whether today is a riding day, but sometimes I go out even if not feeling up for it simply because I can see few opportunities in future for riding.

Ironically, the lockdown has meant I am riding more than I previously did, as I am now working from home and can take opportunistic rides as an when the time allows. I wouldn't be doing this if I was working in the office.

I'm doing far less hours than normal which means I'm actually taking rest days off, which is virtually unheard of. The last time I was on anywhere near just basic hours was 2009, then from 2010 until the virus kicked off it was a case of "how much overtime are you willing to do?"
