How Often Do You Stop

When things are going OK, I stop when I want to.

On hills, when I run out of lungs, legs and gears

Anything over 30, will stop once per ride. If with friends, we go to a caff. If on my own, I often stop to take photos, take in the view etc

I only ever stop to urinate, vomit or collapse. Or all three. Preferably all three at the same time.

A friend of mine underestimated the strength of a ride the other week (unusal for him) so he was ill-prepared for it, he overdid it and ended up vomiting over himself and the front of his bike - don't think he stopped though!

I do this as well. Usually my rides also fall into the category of "exploration", so I'll stop whenever I feel like it's a good time just to have a look round, have a drink etc. I find it makes the whole journey more enjoyable (which is surely the point!).
