As an aside a few years ago when the England Cricket team were touring the West Indies a female England fan took a shine to Curtley Ambrose (6'7") in the hotel and asked him if he was "built in proportion". He replied "Lady, if I was built in proportion I'd be 8 foot 3".

My wife is on one of those weight loss injection things so she is measuring her weight every week

Note - using the scale I bought several years ago to the sound of her scoffing!!!

anyway - I decided to do the same as it would be silly not to while they are out

turns out that, in spite of feeling that I am eating more, including pudding most evenings, I have lost a bit more weight
now between 90 and 91 kg - more accuracy is pointless as the scales are not that accurate!

possibly the gluten free "diet" is helping as it limits that carp I can eat??

anyway - probably best to keep an eye on it as I am going to a "school reunion" in a few days and several people there are of that age where they "should" have got their old age pension recently until the government changed the rules!!!

and most of the people have spent most of their lives playing some kind of sport!!!
(funny how it is the more sucessful ones are the ones that are keener on a reunion??)

I had to quit running at 56. Plantar faciitis and ligament injuries raised their ugly head and the Doc warned me I faced surgery if I didnt stop aggravating them by continuing to run. 16 months later they still niggle me, but theyre slowly going in the right direction.
