Surely with his track record of dabbling in drugs he wouldn't dare take them again to enhance his performance in any sport he competes in? I think he's a natural athlete who can still perform well in his mid forties. It makes you wonder how many TdF's he would've won without chemical assistance. I think he would've ended up as a 3 or 4 times winner of the tour. Fool him for wanting to be the man who won most tours,look where it got him!

Due to the bank crash i had to start from scratch in my forties, mortgae finishes 1 month after im 65 .I expect to be working well into my sixties. Why should they get to retire at forty, lazy sods!
