do you recon it will take to remove the drivers door interior panel, secure interior handle and re-fit - add in electrics as well.......

I've got an hour to sort it before I need to pick up the kids tonight....

Noticed the interior release handle was coming off last night - had a look and the hinge pin had dropped down. Removed handle, sorted pin, but to re-fit, you have to remove panel, then slide in a retaining moulding, that can only be fitted correctly by removing the whole panel........argh.....stupid design.......... temporarily fixed it last night by torch light, so hoping to have it all sorted by 7pm...... assuming it doesn't rain !!!!

Heh........less than 10 minutes from opening garage, getting screw driver and a campag cone spanner (yes !) and pulling off, refit and on - that was much quicker than I expected.

Just three screws, remove door window electric switches, then with cone spanner, prise the panel and press clips off. Lift up, access back, slide in handle clip and refit.... and the windows still worked when I put it back together...phew..........

Hmmmm, by my reckoning it should take about 45 minutes.

So, allow half a day

I was lucky, done jobs that should take a few minutes, and it all goes wrong...seized nut and other stuff, and it takes ages....and ages........ this went to plan (50 minutes better than plan)..........phew..........
