still getting left knee pain 
reading up the next step is to move cleats out a bit as that can affect my knee as i have always ran the knees wide .
Its odd how its come on over the last month or so as nothing has changed except im getting greyer on top

I think i have finally found out the issue
My old best shoes i recently sold and i have been using a pair i have had as reserve that TBH have always been a bit big so much so the foot moves around when pedalling , im guessing that the cleat placement was wrong and moving about to cause issues,When i rode friday my knee was really sore with those shoes so today i decided to not ride as it was very foggy , the other 2 riders had pulled out so i took the opportunity for a rest day
