Yes, Yenners

or
No, Yenners

Whichever answers the question best.

If I work it out, I'll let you know...

Yenners, you're intelligent enough to get your message across without the need to swear all the time, and also clever enough to work out the essence of my announcement without having to have a line drawn in the sand and the whole thing picked to bits in minute detail.

If you're not happy with the way I want to run CycleChat, then you should possibly look for another cycling forum that can better accommodate you.

You are, without doubt, a passionate and enthusiastic cyclist who has a lot to add to our little cycling community and you are welcome to stay providing you can moderate yourself a little; but if you kick off with threads like this whenever your posts are moderated or me or the mods send you a PM, then it will soon become tedious for everyone.

The eventual long-term result of such kick-offs is that I will close your account, and I don't really want to do that if we can avoid it.

Consider this the warning I mentioned in my announcement, and let's just get back to enjoying the forum and our favourite past-time.

Thanks,
Shaun

Yenners, I have enjoyed (most of) your posts for some years now, way back since the C+ days. I hope you can manage to conform, it is good to hear your slant on things, we don't want to lose you.;)

For instance, to fornicate is F****** yet I feel that is TOO explicit ! :?:

I sincerely apologise for such a abhorrent suggestion, yet I feel that in order to, get it out in to the open (sorry for the use of such lower dialect) wouldn't it not be better to not swear at all...! ;)

Who, for instance - feels the need to use such lowly and un-intelligent language that is beyond my mental dexterity - its a total.......waste of grammar AND speaks alot of the varying and lowly type of people who frequent this said forum.

I feel its not in the best interests of this family orientated net based discussion area that this type of language should be used... !

What is the viewpoint of the population of this lovely, family orientated forum - after all

I would be full of joy to find out all your viewpoints with glee

I wasn't aware that this was a family orientated forum, I thought it was a cycling forum?

Shaun: Do you have to be soo serious - its like your trying to hard...you cannot alter culture thru; force !

Anyhow, for the best, I'm gonna give this place a rest as you are simply having a hard time of it at the moment...and as much as I love this place I cannot bear stress upon yourself.

Take it from me Shaun - I am being serious here.

Anyhow, its not that big a deal the end of the day...

I love swearing.......but i rarely do it. For me it's an expression of soul and passion when used occasionally and appropraitely. When over-used, it's just crass.

I remain open minded.

Swear words should be like the national flag, brought out for "flag days", hung on special occasions, to be saluted when hoisted and to be treated with respect.

If they are on permanent display, they lose their impact and meaning.

IMO.
