Sometimes you have to take ownership of your own f**kwittery, that was some f**kwittery on behalf of the cyclist to put himself in that position in the first place.

You don't drive past a lorry in a car until your exit is clear. You most certainly don't try it on a bike for reasons amply demonstrated here.

I disagree. If he was ahead it was only by inches and may well be in a blind spot. You wouldn’t expect a bike to be there.
The cyclist under cuts the lorry and positions themselves in a very dangerous area.

He was already ahead of the white truck when he pulled out to overtake the car, never mind as he went past the blue truck.

I am not excusing the cyclist's behaviour in any way. But he certainly was not the only one at fault.

Seems to be a country where the men are "men" and the sheep are scared. Just a stupid ego big-headed move on everyone's part (probably the HGV on right side was least/not at fault). But overall.... W.T.H?
