Would appreciate some advice please. I bought a used Brompton with the weird P handlebar

The old grey foam is grubby so I'd like to replace. Can anyone advise how to fit the new 50cm long foam tube and what glue etc I'll need?
Many thanks

Never replaced these type bar grips but I have done some foam grips on drop bars for a road bike. Get the bars and grips well wetted with rubbing alcohol and slide the grips on which should be quite easy. When dried out they'll stay put.

BTW hello and :welcome: to the forum.

Hi all, thanks very much for the replies and welcome

Good to see there are some options! Cycleops, can I ask, is rubbing alcohol a mix with water or does it contain anything else? I've got some neat IPA, so should I add 20% water to stop it evaporating too fast? Thanks

You could probably use just plain water with a bit of washing up liquid added, see how it goes but not too much unless you want the grips to go all foamy in the rain. Rubbing alcohol may just evaporate a bit quicker.
