Ok, I've sold and had collected by courier, lots of motorcycles, bass guitars and bass amps but, never had anything collected by courier for something I've bought.

I've found a bike a good 200 miles away (aren't they always!) , guy is willing to work with courier.

...... whats the form and price for a good service?

Any help welcome.

Cheers guys

I think I would drive the 200 miles and collect myself. Apart from the time it would take, it would just cost me a tank of petrol for about £50-£60.

This would additionally give me the option to have a test ride and check out the mechanics.

Good luck

I think it may need to be boxed. If the seller will not do it, find a lbs close to him who will. They will charge. They could maybe arrange the courier If not. Contact a local courier company . Let them know the weight and size of box and arrange collection and drop off.

Ask the seller to box up the bike (they can ask their LBS if they have any spare boxes. Shops are usually happy to give away) and use the well known bike courier Pashley Freight. Its inexpensive and a good service.
