after 2 failed attempts at establishing a nice lawn, I'm reluctantly thinking the same. Or a helicopter drop of concrete. If I could afford it, I'd have a totally plastic garden. Nice to look at and zero maintenence.

A friend of mine has fake grass. He got it cos his lawn was constantly churned up by his two football mad kids. It actually looks fantastic and is more or less maintenance free.
