Old hubs can be used to keep the front and rear from getting squashed, or blocks of wood cut to size and held with a lot of tape plus or minus screws. There are ones that come ready made, if you do order some check the size you need

I chock dropouts with wood and a couple of screws (easiest if there are mudguard eyes).
