You could try asking her if she'd drink and drive. If she says no, then point out that texting is as bad (IE, both illegal, and both affect reaction times), is she says yes, disown her (and shop her).
Hello sorry I had forgotten about this thread!
Sadly I think this is how I think she'd react. My sister, having got into North London's poshest girl's grammar school, would look at that bunch of 'chavs' and laugh at how crap they are and that would never happen to her because she's really good.
I fear my sister (now 36 with a 3 year old daughter) is turning into one of those 'yummy mummy' types driving a 4x4 with phone to ear whilst turned around shouting at the kids. Fortunately she only drives a Mini Clubman (ahahahahaha what an idiot) but whilst once being utterly adverse to twats who drive 4x4 vehicles in city centers she's now understanding of the advantages of the higher driving position.
My sister does NOT like being told what to do or what to think, and she holds grudges. If I enact some form of 'revenge' against her for using the BB I fear it'll just make her more stubborn to use it just to not lose points to me.
Although I do like the walking into her and falling over on top of her when using my phone. That could be funny! Although again if I said I was making a point she'd just do it more and say I'm an idiot and she would never hit anyone because she is so much more intelligent than me. Ugh.
Can't shop her to anyone just yet - she lives in Paris, I have no evidence, and my French is rubbish.
She is however moving back to London in the new year. Look out for a dark gold-ish coloured mini clubman around the streets of Westminster.
But the problem with those sort of road safety messages is that drivers like her will watch that video and think: "What an idiot, how stupid for texting while driving if you are such a bad driver that you'd make mistakes like that... I'd never do anything so silly when I text while driving".

She lives in Paris? Why didn't you say? All bets are off. They all drive like they're texting as a matter of course. Plus if she does hit someone it'll almost certainly be a Parisian, so that's all to the good. All this fuss about nothing...
