Did you ever live in Ashton Under Lyne? there is a house there that used to have a big Liverpool flag in the window. It was a surprise every time I passed it that the window hadn't gone through.
Afraid that wasn't me , but I did indeed get my fair share of stick. All the Man Ure fans are down South so surely the Ashton United fans wouldn't mind a true red supporter on their doorsteps

Tut Tut throwing statements around not based on as Rafa would say facts, the Mighty Kopites, as you put it are still the most successful English team period , if i recall by 3-4 trophies ( I think it's 41 to 38/39 for the scum)
If we are talking League champions, i'll go crawl back to my little hole, think we may even beat your 26 year wait for the title

I remember going to an early kick-off in the 60's and as we got in there were about 20 Utd supporters on Lime Street station waiting for a train to take them to Manchester - the locals just looked at them as though they were aliens from another planet.
