How's my driving?

A van passed me yesterday and I was very impressed with the way he was driving. He signalled when he didnt necessarily need to, and he waited patiently when he was behind me.

I wasnt able to pick up the company name on the side of the van but he had a "How's my driving" sticker on the back. I am using the website to comment on his driving but was wondering if it was really worth going through the system just to congratulate him?

I dropped a message to a company via twitter the other day to compliment one of their drivers

yes, i did the same with Johnsons coach/bus company, because their driver patiently waited. i had a really nice reply from them, saying they would pass on my email to the driver. Johnson's are the only coach company around here that i rate their drivers. i'm considering doing it again as it was a few years ago, but they continue to give me a wide berth and i think the affect of praise is better than the affects of complaining.

No offence Matthew but after reading several of your posts you seem very hung up on the vehicles around you and their contribution to your ride, whether that be good or bad.

Go with the flow mate and enjoy a good driver and shrug off the bad ones

Cycle knowing faster vehicles are behind you , but cycle keeping yourself safe, instead of aggressive hand gestures just wave.
