Haha i get the feeling the taxi didnt think so

I stopped, my fault - went through a puddle (another no-no ) bike hit something, flipped and the taxi caught my fall - big helmet shaped dent in the boot. Driver was fine, and reconned it would pop out - swapped details - he never called back ! Cost me new Richey WCS bars, cables and bar tape though....£100

Haha how big was the puddle, sounds like a sore one though  and a bit costly on the bank balance side of things too

At least you're just a cyclist who had a silly second. But you've learned from your experience & are someone who isn't destined to be a moronic cyclist

Now that I don't understand. He's narrowly missed being crushed by a HGV and what does he go and do? Tries to squeeze down the left AGAIN .

It is as though certain people have firstly no sense of danger and secondly a complete inability to learn from experience.

It was all part of the same incident. That's like saying someone was unlucky for falling off a ladder but bloody stupid for deciding to hit the ground at speed. The one thing led to the other.

I am assuming that Al78 was talking about the BentMikey video where the cyclist filters left next to a tipper truck, very nearly gets squashed and then does it again!

If we're talking about the video. Up to second 20 we see the guy charging ahead, going up the inside of a lorry & nearly gets crushed only to be seen safe & crucially behind the truck. At second 34 we see the same cyclist then dive up the inside of the HGV that had a good go & crushing him again

With regard to the OP yeah a single incident, started by a miss-judgment.
