I think the main problem is that I want summer to arrive so much, and I have been waiting insied for it to come. However, I have missed two whole days worth of riding because I am basically tired.

The dissappointing thing is that I am now about 150 miles down on my target to do 6000 miles this year. I have done 655 whereas I should have done 800. I will be able to make it up over the summer though.

Sometimes I just cannot be bothered to go out. I would rather stay in the warm. I dont commute so just go out for fun, but I dont want to see my health and fitness suffering from this lack of encouragement.

Iv often found that when Im feeling in the cant be bothered mood , I end up have the best workout and feel great afterwords. But it can be hard pushing yourself when your not in the mood.

I did another 11 miles today, no shopping but another skinny latte at half way and no squeaky brakes ! It was much colder but dry...I had to put the headband on as my ears were killing me

I can't really get out during the week and have now missed he last 3 weekends for various reasons, weather this one - so the only miles I'm getting in are 4 a day commuting. I expected to be behind target until May - but at this rate it will be difficult to make it up!

I feel a bit the same as you at the moment. I'm a bit down, and this seems to translate into not wanting to get all dressed up with umpteen layers just to not suffer too much on the road - I'm fed up with only going out when I can face the whole rigmarole of taking 20 minutes to get dressed. I want to feel warm - not warm because I've been busting a gut but warm because it's warm.

I had thought it would feel warmer today but though it was dry and bright, there was a cold wind and it felt a lot colder than the weather man said. So I bailed. Maybe tomorrow, eh? Start to catch up on that mileage deficit....

With me the hardest part of a ride , especially in winter, is from the sofa to the front door. Once through said door my whole mood changes. I wont say which way

Ever since the snow appeared where I am I haven't been out, nearly three weeks I think. Prior to that I was number two in the cyclechat endomondo seven day list, now I've lost my mojo completely.
At least I am doing a bit of boxing indoors to keep fit but just can't get on the bike.
