I find this thread unconvincing because the OP didn't mention the brand. If it's not a prestige pen brand I'm simply not impressed because any old Taiwan factory can turn out open-mold pens but they can't build a pen to the same standard as an exotic Italian or British pen-maker. Neither has the OP given us links to test reports from pen magazines or websites, which, as we all know, are completely impartial and have nothing to do with freebies given to journalists like rubbers, rulers, ink, blotters or expensive paper.
