That's fairly common, so this case is not proceeding any slower - or faster - than most others.

The failure to stop is the awkward one from her point of view because it is the only one for which she can go to prison.

However, failing to stop after a very minor injury accident is not the most serious form of the offence, so whatever happens there's no way she's going to prison.

The thing with this young "lady" is her future career, and this is a two edged sword

If she is convicted of certain offences it bans her from accreditation - so she has no career
If the Judge takes this into account she may get a mitigated sentence that falls outside this parameter so she keeps her career
