The nice chap in the email said so

"On behalf of the Trustees and Executor of the estate of Late Engr. Juriaan Kugger. I once again try to notify you as my earlier letters were returned undelivered.

I wish to notify you that the late Engr. Juriaan Kugger made you a beneficiary to his WILL. He left the sum of Thirty Million, One Hundred Thousand Dollars (USD$30,100.000.00) to you in the Codicil and last testament to his WILL.

This may sound strange and unbelievable to you, but it is real and true. Being a widely travelled man, he must have been in contact with you in the past or simply you were nominated to him by one of his numerous friends abroad who wished you good.

Engr. Juriaan Kugger until his death was a member of the Helicopter Society and the Institute of Electronic & Electrical Engineers. Please if I reach you as I am hopeful, Endeavours to get back to me as soon as possible to enable me conclude my job.

You are advice to contact me with my personal email: link removed

The thing about Nigerians is that they are all educated in the same Irish catholic tradition so they all have very characteristic handwriting and can't avoid using this typical language and style when they write. For those who haven't succeeded in buying a visa and disappearing into Britain (and two million have, according to a very unofficial estimate I heard from the British High Commission in Lagos) they are linguistically out of touch with more current English and the best they can manage is copying or cutting and pasting from a friend's 419 letter, which is why they all end up sounding the same.

Aye, Nigerians. They're all the same! Did you know that there are another 158,423,180 of them all queueing up to get in, claim our benefits and swamp the NHS? (Never mind what they want to do to our women:eek:)

Andreaw MUST be a real name mustn't it? If I had another son I'd call him that.

I have thought of offering them a correctly written scam letter for cash payment....
