I put the central heating on when I got in from a very wet early afternoon ride. There's no way my cycling clobber was going to dry out in time for me to put them on again for tomorrow's soaking.

I passed a couple at a bus stop last week and heard the woman mutter something in a surprised tone, as i rode further it dawned on me what she had said: "Shorts"?

I've got no work today and have no intention of going in out in this deluge. It's going to be c**p all week by the look of the forecast. I was hoping for some good weather to get out in my CC, short sleeve, jersey. New job, I start in a couple of weeks, as School, Bikeability Instructor, looks like being Wet fun .
