Nuff said (as we say in Manchester)

Hate driving to work.

Ups and downs, verbals with drivers etc. but I really hate driving to work - changed jobs as well to avoid it.

Not much else to say really.

Sat at traffic lights on top of the M56 this morning and there were cars and cars in a line, queue by queue, hundreds of cars, more and more, and just me on a bike on top of the roundabout. Why... (one of those moments you get) ?

I am obviously a weirdo ?

My consultant would say I need not to ride my bike, but hey ho...

Love riding to work.

I can get up feeling like poo, get into work feeling great (ish). I put down most morning car interactions to folk driving half asleep. Had I driven, I would have been in the same state of tired in work.

Win win. Certainly helps me at the moment with being up at silly hours to check my sons insulin.

When I have to drive rather than ride I can't believe how stressed I get. On the bike the stress simply isn't there. Queues of traffic are not impassable blockages just something you notice as you pass them. I have never driven my car miles in the wrong direction to take a long route into work. Bike...good. Car......bad^_^

Another one here who hates driving to work, the poor car has been sadly neglected for the last few years.
I don't even have the excuse of getting stressed whilst driving as most of my working life has been on shifts so would be driving out of 'rush hour' anyway.

I drove the six miles to work and back again for years. In retrospect, I think I was totally bonkers to sit in central London traffic for so many hours. It wasn't any fun at all. I just love commuting on my bike and get all grumpy if I have to drive it now.

Stuff all that driving or public transport nonsense. Cycle commuting is where it's at. Love it. even when it's howling a gale I am happy getting on the bike to work.

Because I cycle I drink less the night before and force a good breakfast down me to fuel the ride, this makes me feel better throughout the day.....might even stop taking the meds

I agree with all of you. On the odd occasion I go in the car (need to drop the kids off) the traffic and the idiocy of some drivers really annoy me. When on the bike its bliss. Yes, it takes twice as long.Yes, the weather can be rubbish but its all welcome.
