I enjoy cycling to work it clears my head and I feel better when I get there then again after a 12 hour shift and heading home in the wind I wish I was driving sometimes.

I don't have a car currently so driving isn't even an option. I prefer cycling than catching the bus though. It really brings me around in a morning, especially when I've had one too many drinks on a Sunday night, I wake up dreading the ride in but arrive 9 miles later feeling good

I have never driven as I don't have a licence. But all I can say is when I cycle back home from work. All the stress has gone and I don't bring work home with me.

Stuff all that driving or public transport nonsense. Cycle commuting is where it's at. Love it. even when it's howling a gale I am happy getting on the bike to work.
My feelings exactly . Even when I get on the bike feeling tired, or grumpy, or sad, it's really hard to maintain these feelings after I've been riding a while. This is why I enjoy my work commutes, even though it's about 14 hours per week.

My car's been off the road for the past 3 months..I haven't bothered about it.

I like not having the option, for now. It meant that I had to cycle today as the places I needed to be would have meant multiple bus journeys, car would have been a nightmare in football traffic and I would have still been regretting last night's ale.

As it is, not the longest ride but a 13-15 mile round trip with steep sections and I feel human again. (Plus bought new brake & gear cables, new red outer and new red bar tape for a sober Saturday evening fettling session)

I like Skol

A Minging Manc...
Drove in to work on Tuesday for my 1st night shift and cycled in tonight (Wed). I hadn't gone more than half a mile when I remembered why I normally cycle. I arrived at work feeling awake, alive and refreshed and can hardly wait for the return leg in the morning :hyper:

EDIT: Just realised I should click over the 1k mark as I arrive at Chateau Skol in the morning
