My head phones cannot go loud enough to drown out wind and traffic, sadly.

Then there's the deaf people argument.

Bt you're right it will become yet another reason to blame cyclists:

I tried listening to music on my last ride. I am now recovering after falling off my bike whist trying to wind up my gramophone which I had balanced on the handlebars.
