It's a bit of a catch 22. If you go to a forum and there aren't very many recent posts, you are put off posting yourself.
Still, I've done one in photography, and will share links where appropriate. Good luck.

No, sorry, unfortunately not - well, at least not at the moment.

The Single Sign On system only transfers user account name and password - everything else is independent to that particular site. I'm hopeful that the add-on will be developed to a higher level where one account can be used globally across all sites, but suspect that'll be quite a while away yet.

True - people generally want an active forum to post in - which is why I've asked for everyone's help.

I commissioned Sandra a couple of months ago to help out by adding new content (which is why most of the sites have her picture all over the What's New? page) and I'm trying to add things where I can, but it needs a bit more variety and this is where everyone's posts and threads will help - they will attract new people and over time each site will grow and develop a community of its own.

Equally if you know a keen geek, cook, pet lover or photographer who doesn't cycle, and you think they'd enjoy helping us build the new communities, then please pass on a link and invite them to help - any tips, advice or chat would be very welcome.

It would be handy for other forums dealing with Shaun's 'new' areas to be going into meltdown, a la Cycling Plus, the exodus from which sinking ship helped CC to achieve 'critical mass', thereby creating its own gravitational field and drawing any cyclists who happened to be going past

Thanks guys - it just helps to have some different people and posts in there - I'm sure in time the new forums will get a critical mass of their own, but in the meantime if you can keep checking back on occasion and adding to the mix it'll be much appreciated.

Which forum? And did you tick the 'Stay logged in' option when you tried?
