I tried to sign into CC on my new phone, but it didn't recognise my email address. I don't want to register under another name, so any suggestions?

I tried to sign in but couldn't do. I haven't been able to post on CC on my phone for a few years now, or even looked at CC on my phone. Now that I have a new phone I'd like to not only see others posts, but also post myself from my phone. I don't want to push it in case the automated system thinks I'm trying to post under another username, besides my Accy Cyclist name. One of the reasons I'd like to post on my phone is that it'd be much easier to post photos by sending them directly to CC, rather than the post them on my Facebook page, then copy them to send to CC on my laptop system I've used for a few years now. What should/could I do to be able to post phone messages on CC? 🤔

Try updating the browser and the phone. If that fails to achieve anything, it might be that the handset and operating system is too old.

Try signing in on the new handset, making certain to tick the "Keep me logged in" box. Username and password, not e-mail and password.

That fails, get the thread moved to Site Support, and see what help others are able to offer.

It's possible it's your browser not working properly on your phone - try installing an alternative like Firefox or Brave and try logging in from there. If that fails then it's really unlikely to be your phone unless it's from the dark ages, much more likely to be user error.

If it was a site issue then chances are this would be a universal problem.

It's difficult to know what is going on here. You should be able to log in as normal using user name and password. If using your email address; has that changed since you registered? If so we can update it manually as required.

Please don't register another account just to access via your phone.

Try doing the forgotten password link. If you get a reply back to the expected email, then it will prove you have the correct email and you can set a new password at the same time.

I haven't tried yet Pat, with being out all day and just getting back. I'll try the suggested methods later and get back to you if I can't log in.
