I tried to sign into CC on my new phone, but it didn't recognise my email address. I don't want to register under another name, so any suggestions?

No, he would not need another email address.

Only ever used my e-mail address twice to sign into/onto the site. Every other time has just been username and password.

It's difficult to know what is going on here. You should be able to log in as normal using user name and password. If using your email address; has that changed since you registered? If so we can update it manually as required.

Please don't register another account just to access via your phone.

That is a problem that lots of are having. My forum name doesn't appear in the list now - if I type in "colinj" the software suggests “colinjohnchapman"!

Did you check the email address where you are signed in. Is it what you expected ? Plus you’re not trying to login on the news and current affairs version which is seperate?

On the computer that works, check the notification messages. Make sure that you get an email when receiving private messages. Then ask a friend on cycle chat to send you a PM. You should get an email to your phone and main computer. This will prove that cyclechat has your correct email.

This is a forum software problem, not related to Accy's predicament.
Accy, I'm going to send you a reset password email, please open it on your phone, then change your password, then log into CC.
If your phone asks you to if you want to save this log in, please click yes, so your phone will log you in automatically in the future.
