I'm not sure the power steering would work either with the servos out of action.Cutting a vehicles electrics surely isn't going to stop its progress towards a cyclist doing a 10th of its speed

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has a magazine called Spectrum. Years ago, it had an article about how to build an EMP gun using the magnatron from a domestic microwave oven. It was quite simple.
My car needs a timing light - but it is 20 years old and has a distributor. None of that coil pack and crank sensor rubbish.... And a strobe gun to get the timing right
I think the bodywork would offer a fair degree of protection from The Death Ray. If I remember correctly, the IEEE version was capable of knocking out a transistor radio at ten feet, not exactly a military grade weapon.Would it work on a car? Isn't a car a Faraday cage?

Another reason my RPG suggestion is better!Cutting a vehicles electrics surely isn't going to stop its progress towards a cyclist doing a 10th of its speed
I always knew there had to be a weapon available somewhere to discourage Stravapests!Probably play merry hell with your Strava timings

Or both......Just thinking about Newtons third law....
You'd fire the RPG, then be catapulted backwards? Or set on fire by the exhaust gases from the rocket?
