The female of the partnership was community nurse and worked with patients with memory problems. A relative of one patient thought money was going missing so laid a trap and said nurse was apprehended with the patients money but claimed she had been asked to get some shopping. So nothing could be proved, but she realised the writing was on the wall as far as her NHS career was going. So she moved in to private sector before setting up the charity.
The husband spent his nursing career getting moved from one project to another and generally failing at everything he touched.
I did meet him at funeral last year and they are no longer together or running the charity, he now has a long term illness of the type that has very vague symptoms but gets you long term benefits.
