Fancy cars, flying overseas a lot? OK traffickers surely?? Dealers if not. Where the cars bought with cash???? 
I want to donate monthly to a donkey charity, but need reassurance that most of my donation will go to the donkeys and not to admin' etc!

The female of the partnership was community nurse and worked with patients with memory problems. A relative of one patient thought money was going missing so laid a trap and said nurse was apprehended with the patients money but claimed she had been asked to get some shopping. So nothing could be proved, but she realised the writing was on the wall as far as her NHS career was going. So she moved in to private sector before setting up the charity.
The husband spent his nursing career getting moved from one project to another and generally failing at everything he touched.
I did meet him at funeral last year and they are no longer together or running the charity, he now has a long term illness of the type that has very vague symptoms but gets you long term benefits.

I'm sure accy you know of foals and horses charity in accrington they also rescue donkeys is there shop still in the arndale centre?

Only Foals and Horses is still in the Arndale centre, as far as I know. I still think donkeys and other animals overseas are in a worse situation than abused animals here, hence me wanting to donate to the charities that appeal for donations on Facebook videos, playing on my mind, seriously giving me depressing thoughts.

Save the money Accy, and use it to get tooled up, go abroad, and go all Schwarzenegger at the donkey abusers. Take the fight to them!

Find a local charity and volunteer your time. That way you can be sure that 100% of what you give (i.e. your time) goes to a good cause. Well that is if you don't slack off and browse CycleChat on your phone every 5 minutes.

I would not go through FB ads at all. Seek out good charities yourself. Those charities for overseas donkeys are not the solution to the problem. These are not first world problems so first world solutions do not work. First world solutions is to take the donkeys away or treat then with effectively a sticking plaster. The plaster comes off and the wound is still there.
So how to stop foreigners abusing donkeys in those other countries is also not the answer. The answer is to find and supply a viable alternative. Imagine if they could be given some other means to carry what they are carrying other than the donkey or other beast of burden. Also the means to run that thing. Then those donkeys would not be abused by working them like they are.
I guess what I am saying is poverty is the root cause. Poverty and subsistence in a poor community. It is a long term solution but solving the poverty issue solves so many more issues including use of these donkeys. It is a long term goal and I doubt anyone born now will see it achieved. But that is the only solution that will work. Fund anti poverty charities instead Accy. You cannot help the donkeys with money to them now. Your money might save the odd one here and there but not even a drop in the ocean. Take a donkey from the person who has to use it you take the source of money and food from the worker or you force him to get another one. Give him a solution to replace the donkey then you have a solution to the donkey harm.
I might be labouring my point here but root causes is what I know about in my job. Ask why until you get there. Why are the donkeys suffering. Why are the people working them so hard without good welfare? Why do they need donkeys for that work? Why? Why? Why? When there are not more Whys then look to solve the problem you have defined. BTW the working conditions of the donkeys are the conditions of the humans working them. They are in a form of bondage and slavery too. Slave to poverty and the kind of work they are doing. Sort the human should sort the donkey.

Does Rhyll (the town not the team) still have a bad drugs problem? Last I heard about that place it was in the news for that. Perhaps they just took a downer instead of an upper???

Don't know if this has been mentioned. You can place a restriction on your donation saying it is only to spent on 'say' food.
