I took the crosser in to work as usual today, what a mistake!
Ended up wheeling it along for most of the journey having spent all my luck for this year in one commute.

The difference a few screws and some gaffer tape can make is astonishing

The irony of it all this morning - having my sanity questioned by people who had spent at least twice as long as normal getting to work stuck in traffic or on trains with problems on the line, while I was about 5 minutes later than usual. I'm lucky that my house is about 40 yards from a main bus route and all the main roads were well gritted - so only a few slushy areas to worry about this morning and most drivers being extra careful when passing.

I had to take the continental semi slicks off my single speed MTB and put on some nice grippy tyres. Business as normal we've had snow since thursday not a light dusting either. Im up in N.E Scotland. Pure ice on the side roads. Several inches of snow on the pavements. The roads are bad in the morning.

Cant be bothered digging out the car till shopping day .
